A browser extension that switches reader mode on by itself for the sites I choose, using Edge's own Immersive Reader where it can and its own clean reading view where it cannot.

About this project
What it does
Some sites are only readable in reader mode, and turning it on by hand every time gets old. AutoReaderMode does it for me, on sites I mark as Always, never on sites I mark as Never, and on pages it detects as paywalled or ad-heavy.
The browser-specific bit
It is a Manifest V3 extension. In Edge it hands the page to the browser's own Immersive Reader; anywhere that fails, it injects a reading view built on Mozilla's Readability library instead, so it behaves the same on any Chromium browser.
